ACVESA Convention 2009
Co. 6 dumped house for the 2009 Adams County Volunteer Emergency
Services Association convention, hosted by United Hook & Ladder (co. 33)
and the Hillcrest Fire Co. of New York. The cavalry brought home
the following awards:
1st place ambulance
2nd place rescue
2nd place special unit (Utility 6)
2nd place fire prevention float
3rd place tanker
the Harry L. Moul, Jr. award for the "Best Appearing Adams County Fire
Company"
Special thanks to our transfer companies: New Kingstown for the tanker,
Pleasant Hall for the rescue engine, and Friendship Hose Co. (Newville)
for the ambulance.
